Today as part of our World Around Us topic, the children were thinking about imported fruit items. The boys and girls were exploring food packaging and researching where some of the fruit came from. We talked about what climate does it need to grow? How is it cultivated? How does it get here? And discussed fair trade for the farmers and growers
