Today marked a very special day in the Faith journey of our P.4 pupils. We were joined by Fr. McCamley and Fr. Jibin to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
The class had prepared diligently for their first experience of Confession, thinking carefully about choices they can make in life, studying stories from scripture such as “Zacchaeus” and “The Good Shepherd”, and more importantly considering ways in which they can turn back to God and continue to live as Jesus calls us to.
Each and every child was excellent today and many were very eager (if not a little nervous) to make their First Confession. A huge thank you to both Priests, who made the experience a calm and meaningful experience for all.
A huge well done to all our boys and girls. We now continue to prepare to celebrate our next Sacrament of First Holy Communion on 7th June.
