This week we ventured to Dungannon Park for our second Forest Schools session. This session we had the opportunity to explore animal habitats. We were able to hold different types of bird’s nests and even saw a tiny version of a wasp nest next to a larger version. The children were all so surprised at how fragile and paper like these were.
The children were then tasked with the job of creating their own animal shelter. It was brilliant to see everyone collaborating and using their imagination and knowledge to create some amazing structures.
