It was World Poetry Day on 21st of March and each class enjoyed sharing some poems. P1&2 read a poem by A A Milne and explored some funny poems by John Foster. P3&4 read their feis poems for the staff - everyone is working hard on their public speaking skills! P5 enjoyed the poem March by John Updike and P6 &7 read Jabberwocky by Lewis Carroll and created some wonderfully inspired artwork! Well done everyone, what a lovely day filled with poems and prose!
