It's Book Week in Northern Ireland. We have been reflecting on the importance of reading and books within our school. We have a well-stocked AR library that P3-7 pupils access daily. We recently purchased a rich variety of fiction and non-fiction reading books to revitalise our already substantial stock. P5-7 pupils take part in whole class reading as well as group reading and each class has a daily reading for pleasure lesson, where the teacher reads a novel to the class. Thanks to Mrs Daly each class is now also receiving wonderful book boxes from Libraries NI that link directly to our World Around Us topics.
